This category recognizes hospitality, tourism, and leisure developments that deliver exceptional guest experiences while creating lasting value for their location. Entries should demonstrate excellence in design, service, and operations, with a strong focus on sustainability, cultural integration, and community impact. Projects will be assessed on architecture, amenities, well-being, digital innovation, ESG performance, and their ability to create distinctive, resilient, and experience-driven destinations.

Project must be completed between January 2025 and September 2026.

BEST INDUSTRIAL, LOGISTICS & DATA CENTERS PROJECT

This category recognizes industrial, logistics, and data centre developments that support the evolving needs of global supply chains, advanced industries, and digital infrastructure. Eligible projects may include manufacturing facilities, distribution hubs, e-commerce warehouses, and next-generation data centres. Entries will be assessed on operational efficiency, scalability, resilience, energy performance, technological innovation, and ESG integration, as well as their ability to meet increasing demands for connectivity, automation, and sustainable infrastructure.

Project must be completed between January 2025 and September 2026.

BEST LIVING PROJECT

This category recognizes outstanding projects that redefine the way people live, through innovative, high-quality spaces designed for modern lifestyles It celebrates developments that enhance everyday life, promote well-being and reflect evolving lifestyles and aspirations. Eligible entries may include housing, serviced living and alternative living schemes distinguished by their innovation, sustainability, sense of place and lasting value for residents, users and communities.

Project must be completed between January 2025 and September 2026.

BEST MIXED-USE PROJECT

This category recognizes integrated developments that combine two or more complementary uses—such as residential, office, retail, hospitality, cultural, or mobility—within a coherent, connected scheme. Entries should demonstrate a holistic approach to placemaking, delivering seamless user journeys, activated public realms, and strong operational synergies. Projects will be assessed on design quality, flexibility, ESG performance, digital integration, and their ability to create vibrant, inclusive, and future-ready destinations.

Project must be completed between January 2025 and September 2026.

BEST REFURBISHED BUILDING

This category recognizes the transformation of existing buildings through refurbishment, renovation, or extension, delivering a renewed lifecycle and enhanced performance. Open to all asset classes, entries should demonstrate significant environmental and social improvements, alongside upgraded functionality, design quality, and user experience. Projects will be assessed on their ability to optimize existing structures, reduce carbon impact, and create long-term value through sustainable, innovative, and context-sensitive interventions.

Project must be completed between January 2025 and September 2026.

BEST RETAIL PROJECT

This category recognizes retail destinations—including stores, shopping centres, and outlet villages—that deliver an outstanding customer experience through innovative concept, design, and operational excellence. Entries should demonstrate strong placemaking, seamless integration of digital and physical retail, and a curated tenant mix where relevant. Projects will be assessed on their ability to attract and engage visitors, drive performance, and adapt to evolving consumer behaviours.

Project must be completed between January 2025 and September 2026.

BEST SOCIAL IMPACT & INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT

This category recognizes landmark projects that combine infrastructure excellence with a strong and lasting social impact. It celebrates developments that serve communities, support accessibility and connectivity, and enrich the public realm through culture, sport or civic use. Entries may include museums, theatres, stadiums, cultural venues, sports facilities and airports distinguished by outstanding design, innovation, user experience and their positive contribution to society.


Project must be completed between January 2025 and September 2026.

BEST URBAN RESILIENCE PROJECT

This category recognizes urban regeneration and development projects that strengthen the long-term resilience of cities and communities. Entries should demonstrate measurable impact across environmental sustainability, climate adaptation, social inclusion, and economic vitality. Projects will be assessed on their ability to enhance the built environment, integrate with their context, improve accessibility, and deliver lasting benefits through innovative, future-ready and community-focused solutions.

At least one phase of the project or the whole project must be completed in 2026.

BEST WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE

This category recognizes new and refurbished office buildings, business parks, and repositioned workplaces that deliver outstanding user experience. Entries should demonstrate how design and operations enhance employee well-being, productivity, flexibility, and engagement, while meeting evolving tenant needs. Projects will be evaluated on spatial quality, health and sustainability performance, adaptability, and the effective transformation or optimization of existing assets into high-performing, future-ready work environments.

Project must be completed between January 2025 and September 2026.

BEST NEW DEVELOPMENT

(total surface area < 200,000 sqm)

This category recognizes any building or real estate development currently under construction or scheduled to commence soon, demonstrating excellence in design, innovation, and long-term value creation. Entries should reflect a forward-thinking approach to sustainability, user experience, and urban integration, combining strong architectural identity with high environmental and technical performance, and a clear contribution to resilient, future-ready built environments.

Project to be built with planning approval or already under construction in 2026.

BEST CITY SCALE DEVELOPMENT

(total surface area ≥ 200,000 sqm)

This category honours exceptional developments of more than 200,000 sqm that redefine the urban fabric through their scale, vision and long-term impact. It rewards projects that go beyond size to deliver meaningful transformation, enhance city life and contribute to sustainable urban growth. Entries should stand out for their masterplanning, design excellence, integration, innovation and ability to create a vibrant and lasting destination at the scale of the city.
